The question is: What format will N200X use? Does Nintendo plan to use DVD or will they stick with cartridges? NOA President, Minoru Arakawa says... "It is by no means certain that the next console will use cartridge ROM, as with the N64. Naturally, we are currently researching all types of media to determine what is most suitable, including DVD. As I said before, the new hardware must and will far outperform the N64, so it's going to take sometime for us to produce." I guess that's answers the question for now. Nobody knows for sure what the next-generation hardware will use. Personally, I am hoping for DVD because cartridges are old and DVD also cost less. |
